BAME communities have some of the lowest political participation rates across the country.
In the Houses of Parliment only about 5% of MP’s come from the BAME population despite 13% of the population being part of an ethnic minority.
Our solution to this is to promote youth leadership among our younger members as a means of encouraging greater political engagement.

We are currently in the process of creating a program to help our young members enter the Youth Parliament.

We seek to decrease political apathy among our community by educating them on current affairs and the political parties an system across the UK, We hope that as a result it will increase voter engagement whilst also increasing the awareness of our community.
